Developing a Culture of Digital Citizenship in Your Classroom, School, or District

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

What does citizenship look like in the 21st century? In developing and designing today’s 1:1 classroom environments, it’s essential that we also cultivate a culture that promotes positive digital decision-making. This session will identify key steps (and missteps!) that our district took to develop a digital citizenship curriculum that has been implemented at the classroom, school, and district levels. Session attendees will be introduced to the curriculum resources that are available to educators, discuss the importance of teacher, student, and family engagement, understand what it takes to become certified by Common Sense Media. Attendees will also develop a stronger ability to curate lesson and design a scope and sequence that works for their district.
